BOLD IDEAS WILL SHIFT THE STATUS QUO:
Mobile Medical Innovation Roundtable 2024
Our Profession’s Original UNCONFERENCE
BLT’s Mobile Medical Innovation Roundtable is not your typical "9 to 4" event with tracks that leave attendees wandering the city. For the same price as larger company-centric events, we start with breakfast and end at the firepits after sunset. MMIR is intimate by design: you’re guaranteed to meet everyone.
Please see below for a retrospective from 2023. There is never rank here — all transformative ideas are valued. ALL invited guests get to present about their passions, efforts, what keeps them up, and what gets them up in the morning. Past MMIRs have led to job offerings, conference speaking invitations, even contracts. But don’t take our word for it…see our testimonials.

For 2024, by popular demand, we have added a second full day to the event, and invite you to join us one of California's premier venues:
Ventura County really appreciates its Responders, so this transcendent hotel — where the typical room rate is between $800-1000 per night — is offering MMIR invited guests a remarkable price: Just $289 + $50 resort fee ($339 total) per night. If you choose to arrive early or stay late, the hotel has golf, tennis, and a pool that will be heated to 83° — it’s open year-round in SoCal. Food and drinks are included because we believe thoughtful conversations about meaningful topics shouldn’t have to pause to find something to eat.

"Don't sleep on Beyond Lucid Technologies ‘Unconference’ — mobile healthcare’s freethinking, wine and whiskey drinking, party of the year!"

“I wanted to take an opportunity and tell you guys about the amazing experience we had at Beyond Lucid's Unconference. The informal nature of how this conference was conducted created unprecedented opportunities for us to network and make new friends.
As a direct result of the networking opportunity, the South Carolina EMS Association has brought on new vendor members, changed the scope of some of our speaking engagements that we have coming up in the future, and made long-lasting relationships that are helping drive the policy and direction of our association.
I would highly recommend that anyone who has an interest in the future of South Carolina EMS or any state's EMS participate in the next upcoming Beyond Lucid Unconference. Hope to see you guys there — I'm sure that South Carolina will be in attendance as well. “

"The audience was full of individuals committed to bettering the world for others, and we were honoured to be in the presence of such esteemed colleagues as we discussed our proactive training programs for first responders and their families. The benefits of the Unconference were experienced throughout our time at the event, but importantly have continued on in the months following.
We had the opportunity to connect with organizational and community leaders at the event and subsequently, and have formed lasting collaborative relationships with stakeholders from diverse regions and industries across the United States. This was a wonderful experience, and time well spent. Thank you to Jonathon and the team at Beyond Lucid for hosting and for inviting us to participate."

MMIR is ENTIRELY OFF-RECORD with the exception of Jonathon Feit's sessions and special sessions that we may hold (e.g., in 2023 we recorded a live-in-front-of-the-audience podcast about mental wellness and health). We have no exhibit hall — MMIR is all about IDEAS — but we may offer select organizations an opportunity to contribute the take-home gift. Please reach out to Jonathon Feit or Art Groux for more details. Email Jonathon.Feit@beyondlucid.com. We look forward to breaking bread and clinking glasses you!

THE AGENDA OUTLINE IS AS FOLLOWS:
SUNDAY EVENING — 12/8: Come as you are. This is a casual schmooze for everyone who wants to start getting to know new friends (or catching up with old ones) early. We expect that some people may face travel issues. Others will be tired. Some may want to visit the nearby beach, or Hollywood, and arrive late to the hotel. Still others may prefer to run away to the spa before the unconference program starts on Monday. Whenever you arrive, we will look forward to seeing you!
MONDAY & TUESDAY 12/9-10 — We will not be starting early: you deserve a chance to sleep in if you want to; get in some tennis or a workout, or breakfast even. THESE WILL BE LONG AND THOUGHTFUL DAYS. We will begin around 10/11 AM with intros, then jump right in. By popular request, a third day has been has been added to the schedule so no one feels rushed when the dialogues get interesting. Lunch will take place around 1 p.m., followed by more content. Mid-afternoon break. Dinner around 6:30/7 p.m. Prior attendees will attest that once everyone got to the firepits, we “closed up shop” around 1 AM. We promise to do all we can to encourage this to happen again!
WEDNESDAY 12/11 — As per usual, we will start around 9:00 AM and plan to break around 12:30 p.m. so anyone who needs to can make afternoon flights and avoid rush hour. Anyone who wants to stay longer, either to discuss or enjoy the result, sure can!
